Blaze Marie (Ms. B)

Blaze Marie was born into a very art driven family where the creative arts were always important to her growing up. Blaze started singing at a very young age and developed a love for Musical Theatre after seeing Hairspray on Broadway in New York City. She went on to study with various acting coaches in NYC and attended Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. Musical Theatre was her main passion for many years, until in high school Blaze picked up the Guitar and started writing her own songs. Blaze is now a multi-instrumentalist with proficiency in Piano, Guitar, Bass, and Vocals! 

In her adult life, Blaze has been in several musical theatre productions, has been employed as a freelance musician, and has even performed in several of her own bands playing original music. Her deepest passion is writing and performing original songs about her life, healing, dreams, and family. 

Blaze’s teaching journey began when she was 18. She started working with young kids around 2-6 years old at a local Daycare and she made sure to include a lot of musical activities in her lesson plans. She discovered a love for sharing musicianship with young kids and was inspired to teach music full time! She started working as a “Band Producer” for a Summer Camp where she helped young girls come together, form a band, write their own song from scratch, and then perform for their families. She taught them how to play their instruments, the general history of music, and how to make compromises and work together as a team! By the age of 23 she was a full time Piano, Guitar, and Vocals teacher for a company in Carmel, IN. She taught private lessons, and also led a choir of all of the voice students combined. 

Fast forward to 2022, Blaze moved to Nashville, TN to pursue her dream of sharing her original music with the world, and to take advantage of the opportunities Nashville has to offer! Wanting to again share her musical passion with others, she began working to build up a student base here in Nashville! Blaze now has several students all around Murfreesboro, Pleasant View, Clarksville, Smyrna, Madison, and Nashville.
